The word “Viden” means “knowledge” or “wisdom”. Our name, “Crystal Viden”, is a nod to our mission to share meaningful and grounded knowledge and insights from the exciting and magical world of crystals with you.
“Viden” is a Danish word with Scandinavian roots. We chose a word symbolizing Scandinavian simplicity and functionality. It reflects our belief that spiritual tools, crystals included, should be practical, intentional, and accessible to all.

Meet the Crystal Viden Team
Crystal Viden was founded by Heather. Now, we’re a small team of crystal lovers who enjoy, use, and benefit from the amazing powers of crystals every day. We are here to help you experience that same magic for yourself.
Heather – The founder
Heather is the founder of Crystal Viden. Her story starts with one uni graduate who after a few years climbing corporate ladders decided that there must be more to life. She packed her bags and booked a trip to Asia to study meditation.
Her fascination with crystals started with a massive amethyst geode in the corner of one of the meditation rooms, which somehow calmed and focused her meditation efforts.
From there, she went on to discover a world of fascinating crystals and their unique energies affecting human beings.
As she decided to learn more, she also knew that she wanted to share her discovery, experience, and love for crystals with as many people as possible. Thus this website was born.
Heather’s favorite stone, to this day, is amethyst, the crystal of peace, protection, and spirituality.
Bianca – The creator
Bianca is a crystal devotee, plus a yoga and candle enthusiast. She is a certified Reiki practitioner and has taken courses in Feng Shui, crystal healing, and aromatherapy.
She loves using crystals in her jewelry and home decor and for creating a balanced environment with positive energy around the house using Feng Shui principles.
She combines the study of metaphysical and healing properties of crystals with her own feelings and intuition to create a “feel good space” around her that is aligned, supportive, and energetically in tune.
Her favorite crystal is Labradorite, the magical color-shifting stone linked to the cosmos and higher spiritual realms.
Apart from the many labradorite jewelry pieces she wears, she also has one massive slab of labradorite to decorate and energize her home.
Miro – The tech
Miro is the crystal site tech. With his engineering background, he runs the technical side of this website. He also adds the more “earthly grounded” information to the articles – everything there is to know about geology and the science of crystals, from how they’re formed to their chemical and crystalline properties.
He especially loves larger, beautiful crystals. His collection includes 5.5-inch tall smoky quartz standing in front of the computer screen that helps shield the electromagnetic field.
He also has a collection of larger palm stones to play with and keep him focused.
His favorite crystal is clear quartz, the versatile and powerful “master healer”. Miro loves the clarity of thought and purpose that the clear quartz brings.
While he has clear quartz in several forms, his favorite is a Lemurian crystal that fits perfectly into his palm. He also happens to have a lovely crystal ball that contains a whole world of reflections – perfect for meditations and scrying the next successful article for the CrystalViden website.
